How it works:
The contest consists of four rounds, with a mid-break sing-a-long:
Round #1: General Trivia: 20 trivia questions about history, geography, celebrities, literature, pop culture, current events, movies, music, business, grade school topics, high school topics, things you should know, etc. See sample questions.
Round #2: Music Round: Identify the artist and the title of song clips. Extra points for extra facts, such as movies soundtrack, facts about the composer or group, etc.
Mid-Break Sing-a-long: Click on the link to hear past sing-a-longs.
Round #3: Faces Round: Identify the celebrity, historical figure, or newsmaker from a partial picture of their face. Click for sample.
Round #4: General Trivia: Like round #1, generally more difficult.
In addition, there are two mini-contests:
1) The Best Team Name, usually based on something topical/newsworthy
2) Limerick Contest. Sample past winners
- Each of the prize winning teams earns a round of shots from the bar
- Prize winners determined by the mysterious and rarely seen laugh-o-meter, which hides behind the podium

Tom's Trivia is a team based competition. If you come alone, Tom can always match you up with some of the many intelligent people who frequent Tom's Trivia.
